HII, formerly known as Huntington Ingalls Industries, is the largest military shipbuilding company in the United States and a provider of professional services to partners in government and industry. Established in 2011, HII operates through three divisions: Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia, Ingalls Shipbuilding in Mississippi, and Mission Technologies. The company specializes in designing, building, overhauling, and repairing military ships, including nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines, for the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.
