Cloud Services and Solutions at BiC-1

Several deployment models like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) are offered by various vendors. We recommend our customers to think of Cloud as an array of solutions that provide many capabilities and management options to enhance their mission and service delivery.
BiC-1 has assisted various customers in their Cloud adoption strategy by evaluating their options based on service and mission needs, technical requirements, and other constraints. We help agencies develop a continuous improvement mindset to realize the full potential of Cloud. We have demonstrated that hybrid and multi-cloud environments can be effective and efficient for managing workloads, offering security, scalability, and speed-to-market advantages to our customers.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Azure Cloud
AWS and Microsoft Azure are market leaders in Cloud computing, offering a variety of services that utilize different deployment models. Through various consulting engagements, BiC-1 has gained substantial knowledge and experience operating Federal Systems in these Cloud environments. Our AWS and Azure certified staff members can design, develop, deploy, and operate customer solutions in the Cloud.
Cloud Networking
Transitioning from traditional data centers to Cloud provides flexibility to build an on-demand network based on software with the ability to scale according to needs. BiC-1 has deployed, managed, and secured customer networks using various tools and techniques offered by Cloud providers and third-party vendors.

To harness the full potential of Cloud, we use cutting-edge services offered by Cloud providers to design advanced solutions. BiC-1 employs precise Cloud engineering techniques to meet the needs of our customers.
Cloud Migration
Many of our customers offer traditional service models for their constituents. Due to evolving demands, government policies, and environmental constraints, our customers are seeking modernization of their services. BiC-1 has successfully executed strategies such as Rehosting (“Lift and Shift”), Refactoring, Rebuilding, and Replacing solutions to help our customers transition to modernized Cloud environments.
Cloud Security
Cloud provides significant security advantages, including layers of security from providers and the associated shared-responsibility model based on deployment factors. With Cloud providers offering FedRAMP-authorized services, Federal agencies can select solutions that fit their criteria. BiC-1 has been involved in securing infrastructure, applications, and data for government customers by leveraging new security paradigms like Zero Trust to reduce risks and improve security.
Managed Solution Provider
Some Federal Agencies may choose to outsource the management of their business services to focus more on their core mission. In these cases, BiC-1 assumes the role of a managed solution provider, designing, developing, operating, and supporting services in a Cloud environment. This approach delivers tremendous benefits to our customers by minimizing service costs, improving customer service, and reducing risks.
